An alumna of ‘SMEFs Brick School of Architecture, Pune, India’

Ragini is born and brought up in Pune, India. She completed her graduate degree in architecture. During the five years of her bachelor program, she developed a keen interest in History that motivated her to take up the post-graduation program at Raymond Lemaire International Center for Conservation, KU Leuven in Belgium. Recently, she completed an internship with ILUCIDARE, a project funded by the Horizon 2020 framework program of the European Union that works towards the establishment of an international network to promote heritage as a resource. As a part of this project, she worked on the vernacular architectural typology in the Western Balkans. Willing to further explore this topic, she is currently working on her Master’s Thesis titled “Feasibility study of a serial World Heritage nomination of Kulla in the Western Balkans (Kosovo, Albania, and Montenegro)”
