Saie is born and brought up in Pune, India. She completed her graduate degree in architecture. During the five years of her bachelor program, she developed a keen interest in Sustainability and Urban Design. It motivated her to take up the post-graduation program at KU Leuven in Belgium. During her bachelor’s she completed an internship with Sacred Groves, which is an ecological housing project in Auroville. As a part of this project, she worked on-site with the vernacular architectural materials and construction techniques. Currently she Working in collaboration with Techne, WHO, UNICEF on designing-Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) Treatment Centers for Ebola, Cholera and COVID-19. She is currently working on her Master’s Thesis titled “Chicago-My Kind Of Town: Integrated Community Initiative.
